REMEMBERING EVENTS AND OTHER POSTINGS - OUR HISTORY IS ALIVE AND WELL... When your websteward removes events and other postings from the website, they go down into a bottomless cyber-pit of forgetfulness. Will someone one day want to know what was on the website in 2001 OR 2006? Will it matter? Well, we know that our story is full of meaning. We are not bound, defined and confined by our history, but our history is nonetheless full of import for our current identity and our future. Our history documents our faithfulness and our failures, our experiences, our personality, our quirks and those formative events that have made us who we are. So I've decided to begin archiving our fading memories, these out-of-date bits and pieces of the website beginning here in mid-2006. Whenever I remove content from the website, I'll stash it here for posterity, for remembrance, for celebration or lamentation, and for the mining of historians and theologians of the future. If I find time, I will also go backward in time, adding items I've deleted in previous years. Please also note that some of the content archived here in the Annual Meeting section is very much alive as Administrative Actions, Position Statements and Positions of the Northern California Nevada Conference UCC.
