Angelicus,” César Franck,

Words: Mary Susan Gast, ©1999
Arise,
shine, your light has come.
A star that is radiant.
Disrupting all that has become predictable.
Great joy for everyone,
Not just the prosperous,
But for the needy,
All who are now despised.
Great joy for everyone,
For all who are now despised.
Arise,
shine, your light has come.
Newborn of mystery.
Outlandish message outlandish messenger.
Swirling together,
Into a comet,
Sacred and profane,
Flesh and spirit,
Swirling together.
Great joy for everyone.
~ Mary Susan
