These re-phrasings are not so much paraphrase as harmony, with the fixed, known melody as a base. Psalms for the Seasons of Lent, Holy Week and Eastertide, Year C
Below is a sample: PSALM 91: 1-2, 9-16 assigned to the First Sunday in Lent, Year C (the Reading for One Voice followed by the Antiphonal Reading).
FIRST SUNDAY IN LENT
PSALM 91: 1-2, 9-16
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High,
Will dwell in the care of the Almighty.
I will say to the Holy One,
"You are my refuge and my stronghold,
My God, in whom I trust,"
Because you have made the Holy One your safe harbor,
The Most High your dwelling place,
No harm will befall you,
No scourge come near your tent.
For the Holy One will command angels to guard you wherever you go.
They will carry you in their hands,
So that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will overcome the lion and the cobra,
You will trample the stalker and the tempter.
I will sustain the lives of those who love me and stay close to Me.
I will protect those who know Me and call Me by name.
When they call to Me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will keep them safe and cherish them.
With long life I will satisfy them,
And show them My comfort and protection.

Voice 1: Those who live in the shelter of the Most High,
PEOPLE: Will dwell in the care of the Almighty.
Voice 2: I will say to the Holy One,
