Annual Gathering May 13-16: A Wonderful Harmony, Transforming Lives, Churches and Communities

“And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common.”  These words from Acts 2 (The Messenger) set the theme for our Conference Annual Gathering at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove Thursday May 13 through Sunday May 16.

“It is our hope that the weekend will transform those who attend so they go home and begin to transform lives, churches, and communities and to live in a Wonderful Harmony with God,” says Planning Team Chair Jeannie Hobson of College Community Congregational UCC, Fresno.

      -Thursday night: Taize Worship and Disciples of Christ Northern California General Minister Ben Bohren on Transforming Lives.
      - Friday morning - Worship led by PSR students, keynote by Charlene J. Smith (Church Vitality) on Transforming Churches.                                                                                                                                             - Friday Afternoon - workshops
    - Saturday morning - Worship with stories from transforming churches, keynote by Ron Buford (God is Still Speaking, NCNC Development) on Transforming Community.
    - Saturday late afternoon - Association meetings.
    - Business meeting will include the goal budget.
    - Sunday morning - Communion worship led by Multiracial Multicultural Transformation team,  Mary Susan Gast preaching.
    - General fun, inspiration, beach, blessing, challenge.
