Encourage your minister to go on retreat Oct. 26-27

     All pastors of NCNC churches, as well as all ordained, commissioned and licensed ministers with NCNC standing or on leave of absence, and all retired ministers are invited to a retreat Oct. 26-27, "Finding our still speaking voice and vocation" with Felix Carrion from the Still Speaking Ministry at the national UCC setting.
     Congregations are invited to help your pastor, and members of your church who are ordained or commissioned ministers, such as chaplains, to attend this 24 hour event at San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville. 
     "Our ministers’ retreats have enriched the quality of ministry, benefiting both the ministers and those they serve," says Conference Minister Mary Susan Gast.  "The educational content of the retreats, along with the exploration of calling and the deepening sense of companionship have been invaluable.  This year Felix Carrion will bring his dynamic inspiration, and will draw upon his life of ministry as a local church pastor, associate Conference minister, and national UCC staffer for Church Life and Leadership and Church in Society as well as his current position with God is Still Speaking.  I encourage all our ministers to participate, and hope that their congregations will support them through prayer and funding."
