 Psalm 126: 4-5
 
 

Restore our well-being now, O God Most High,
As You restore the streams in the desert.
May those who sow in tears
Reap with songs of joy.
 
Torn with tears,
Rent with sorrow,
Nonetheless
We plant,
For tomorrows
Yet unconceived,
By us,
Anyway.
 
You are always at least
A generation ahead
Of us,
Generating,
Dreaming,
Seeding in Your spectacular psyche,
An abundant magnificent garden,
A wealth of wherewithal.
