Seeking a Program Coordinator for Youth & Outdoor Ministries
In a year of transition for the Conference, we seek a Program Coordinator for the 2012 Youth and Outdoor Ministries season.
The Program Coordinator for Youth and Outdoor Ministries will oversee project management of the camps and retreats that serve children, middle and high school youth, and adults.
The Program Coordinator position is open immediately. It is an interim assignment expected to end by mid-September 2012.read more...
Move Coordinator needed
The NCNC UCC office is moving to a smaller space in the same building. We are looking for a Move Coordinator to help organize and direct all aspects of the move, so that the staff can continue to do their work. Are you interested? Or are you willing to be a volunteer?
UCC Youth Spiritual Retreat 2012
Single day event for youth in grades 6 to 12. Youth must register as part of a group with their Pastor, Youth Minister, and/or other Adult Youth Leader. $25 per person, youth or adult, includes lunch and dinner, and program. Registration deadline is March 1.

Outdoor Ministries Leadership
Do you value the opportunity to step outside your daily life and experience the Still Speaking God in the midst of creation and community? Are you interested in helping create such an opportunity for children, youth, young and older adults in our conference by serving as either a director or chaplain?
The Outdoor Ministries Committee (OMC) seeks your input as we form our leadership teams for the 2012-13 season. If you would like to be considered as a director or chaplain for one of our annual events throughout the year, please submit a Leadership Team Application to the conference office by Wednesday, February 8th.
All applicants will be considered as the OMC works to form strong leadership teams for each event. An application is a signal of your interest but not a confirmed agreement to serve. Committee members will follow up with all applicants in February to communicate next steps.
All confirmed directors and chaplains will be invited (and strongly encouraged) to attend the UCCR Camp Director’s Retreat at Westminster Retreat in Alamo, March 2-3, 2012 at no cost. Our next Annual Gathering will be April 26-29, 2012 at the Sofitel in Redwood City.
The Annual Meeting will be on Saturday April 28 at 1 PM.
Brief description of any proposals to be considered are due by January 15. See full proposal policy.

Identity Seminars cancelled
We regret to announce that we need to cancel the two programs planned for Saturday, Feb. 4. We will not be offering either the Identity Seminar on UCC History or the Basic Boundary Training we had scheduled for that day.
We also are cancelling the Identity Seminar on UCC Ministry planned for March 3 at Church Day.
We had a very small registration for the programs on February 4. In addition, our Identity Seminar instructor for that day needed to cancel.
